Collaborating with Radio Suara Sidoarjo, for celebrating 26th National Statistics Day, BPS Sidoarjo Regency presented a talk show entitled 'Ngulik', or Talking about Statistics Reviews. At the inaugural Ngulik on September 8, 2020, hosted by a professional MC, Mrs. Atika Amzar, together with a resource person from the Sidoarjo Regency BPS, Mrs. Dwi Juliastuti, SST. as the First Expert Statistician and Mrs. Ir. Indrajati Kustandinah as the Coordinator of the Distribution Statistics Function, the discussion focused on the Central Statistics Agency in general and various activities in the distribution statistics function in particular.

As mandated in Law No. 16 of 1997, BPS is a non-ministerial government agency that is directly responsible to the President who has the main task of carrying out government duties in the field of statistics. BPS is spread across all provinces and districts in Indonesia, namely there are 34 provincial BPS and 514 district/city BPS.
BPS Sidoarjo Regency has 5 (five) technical functions, one of which is the Distribution Statistics Function, where this function plays a role in providing price, finance, trade and tourism data on a provincial and national scale. Within the Distribution Statistics Function, there are various surveys conducted in monthly, quarterly, and annual periods, with respondents in the form of households, MSEs, UMB, and government/private institutions.
One of the excellent products produced by the Distribution Statistics Function of BPS Sidoarjo Regency is about inflation. Yep, BPS Sidoarjo Regency in collaboration with the Sidoarjo Regency Government conducts several price surveys on a regular basis, both weekly and monthly, to monitor general price changes for goods and services commodities.
