Abstract

The number of poor people (people with per capita expenditure per month below the Poverty Line/GK) in Sidoarjo Regency in March 2021 reached 137,15 thousand people. This number increased by 10,10 thousand people, when compared to the conditions in March 2020 which amounted to 127,05 thousand people.
The percentage of poor people in Sidoarjo Regency also increased from 5,59 percent in March 2020 to 5,93 percent in March 2021.
The Poverty Line in Sidoarjo Regency in March 2021 was IDR 502.524,00 per capita per month, an increase of IDR 16.103,00 per capita per month or an increase of 3,31 percent, when compared to conditions in March 2020 which amounted to IDR 486.421,00.
In March 2021, on average, poor households in Sidoarjo Regency had 4,30 household members. Thus, the size of the Poverty Line per poor household on average is IDR 2.160.853,20 per poor household.
The Poverty Depth Index (P1) of Sidoarjo Regency in March 2021 was 0,95, a decrease of -0,01 points compared to March 2020, which was 0,96.
The Sidoarjo Regency Poverty Severity Index (P2) in March 2021 was 0,24, a decrease of -0,02 points compared to March 2020, which was 0,26.
