Thursday, March 13, 2025, the Sidoarjo Regency Statistics Office (BPS) hosted a training session on Industry, Mining, Energy, and Construction Statistics 2025. The event was attended by organic employees and statistical partners.
The training was officially opened by the Head of BPS Sidoarjo. In his speech, the Head of BPS Sidoarjo emphasized the importance of this training in improving the quality of data and information produced by BPS.
The training was led by two experienced instructors, Mr. Maserul and Mrs. Luqmi Amalia. They provided clear and in-depth explanations of concepts and definitions related to industry, mining, energy, and construction.
According to Ach. Sabarudin, one of the attending officials, "This training is very interactive and provides us with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of concepts and definitions. We hope to apply this knowledge in our daily work."
The training atmosphere was highly interactive, with participants actively participating and discussing. With this training, it is hoped that BPS Sidoarjo can improve the quality of data and information produced, which can assist in making more accurate and effective decisions.
The processing industry in Sidoarjo Regency plays a significant role in the local economy. Various types of processing industries, such as food, beverage, and textile industries, operate in this region. These industries not only provide employment opportunities for local communities but also contribute to the increase in the Regional Gross Domestic Product (RGDP) of Sidoarjo Regency.
With this training, it is hoped that the processing industry in Sidoarjo Regency can further develop and become more competitive. Accurate and consistent data and information will assist these industries in making more informed and effective decisions, thereby improving their performance and contribution to the local economy.
