Training for Susenas and Seruti Enumerators for Q1 2025 at BPS Kabupaten Sidoarjo: A Commitment to Supporting National Development
The Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Office in Kabupaten Sidoarjo conducted training for enumerators of the National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas) and the Quarterly Distribution Chain Survey (Seruti) for the first quarter of 2025. This training aims to ensure the enumerators are well-prepared to collect accurate and professional data.
The training was held in two waves. The first wave took place from January 13-18, 2025, involving enumerators from various districts in Kabupaten Sidoarjo. The second wave was conducted from January 19-25, 2025. The training utilized three learning methods: self-study, distance learning (DL), and face-to-face learning. The offline sessions were held at Fave Hotel, Sidoarjo.
The National Instructors (Innas) for this training were Ms. Eka Fauziah Rahmawati and Ms. Tri Febriani W., who provided materials on survey implementation techniques, ethical standards, and the importance of maintaining data quality.
Agus Setiawan, one of the Field Supervisors (PML) from Waru District, expressed his enthusiasm for participating in the training. "This is an opportunity to make a small contribution to the nation's development. The data we collect will serve as the foundation for better policy planning," he stated.
About Susenas and Seruti
Susenas is a national survey conducted to collect information on the socioeconomic conditions of households, including household expenditures, education, health, and housing facilities. The data serves as a primary reference for the government in determining priority programs such as poverty alleviation, improving health services, and enhancing education.
Meanwhile, the Quarterly Seruti aims to map the distribution chain of goods from producers to consumers. The data collected through this survey is essential for monitoring market availability, prices, and the efficiency of distribution chains in various regions.
With comprehensive training and competent enumerators, BPS Kabupaten Sidoarjo hopes that the Susenas and Seruti activities for Q1 2025 will run smoothly, provide valid data, and support more targeted national development.
